Oral presentation

I meet this excercise on the Jam blog.It is imprtant to study this web site before doing the presentation. In the following i am going to write a summery of that.
Preparation involves 3 steps:
1-Research
2-Plan and organise
3-Write and edit.
We have done the first stage already. For second and third stage making a plan and the organise it's order is so important then write and edit what we have to say.
The following steps are useful to develop a clear plan for our talk:
-Brainstorm the topic to clarify what you know
-Organise the material logically, eg. chronologically, spatially (diagrams and maps), sequentially (first, second)
-Develop a plan or structure.
Structuring a presentation :
tell them what you are going to tell them (introduction) .
tell them (body) .
tell them what you have told them (conclusion).

Afterword practise and rehears .... .For example practise in front of mirror or in front of friends would help us to be more confidence and ready in real presentation. At the end using presentation techniques.

Reflective Writing

I have been studding in the UK for almost tow years.Although i had been studied English in college for more than one year.I started learning English from elementary in a normal college. To be honest learning a foreign language far away from family in the age 27 is so difficult. There is a big gap between the college style and university style. However, there is a big gap in tuition as well.Improving in university is very quicker than college.Teaching system in college is very basic and childish but in the university, researching and self study cause to posh student to try more.
To sum up, studying three month academic English was very useful ,at the beginning i was not satisfied because i thought that is wasting money.I kept telling myself, why i have to study and pay extra money just for 0.5 score less in IELTS.But now i am so happy and i think if i did not study this course i would suffer.

Library resources

During last couple of tow weeks we were researching to write the essay which was about main effects of globalization on our subject area.I found several resources for it (one book and tow on line books on the Mtranet Library Services.Interestingly, i could not open many articles on the google scholar which is not free, but it is possible to open those on the library's computer.Obviously, it was so useful for referencing. Moreover, it was good experience for me before start my course. There are tow on line-book links which i have got those on the Library resources.

I hope to use them on the presentation correctly.

This subject is divided into the tow main subjects: 1-Programming. 2- Management and analysing system.
As we are studying about globalization i have to say that computer networking is a main part of IT also it play an important role in the global village for globalization purpose.Apparently, computer science or IT is being ruining fast and faster in my opinion this Field of since is being up to date every seconds , so it will widely improve and extend in the future.
This course contain several Fields such as: computer networks and distributed systems using both wired and wireless communications, network security, Broadband Networks
Routing and Switching Devices,Advance routing and Cisco CCNA and CCNP, act.

Preparing for further study

I have done this exercise previously but this month i meet Aziz the new student in our class. He is going to study the Computer Networking as well as i do.I have got some new advices from him.So last week i decided to prepare myself and apply for CC NA course as well then we arrange to get an appointment to visit the CC NA leader. He recommended me to study several books regarding this course instead of taking this course because i have to study most of those module during my master course.
Finally this weekend i restudied more about the course modules and also i started to read the recommended books.Interestingly these books are were useful library recourse for my essay.

The computer networking course is divided into three stages:

Friday self study

Oh Helen we really miss you. hope to see you on Monday.
Friday i read through the: http://www.uefap.com/writing/writfram.htm
it is really a useful web sit for academic writing. In the following i am going to write a summery of which i have got from it.

Introduction:
An Introduction should contain these three part:
1)Preliminaries
2)Main text
3)End matter
Also what should write in the preliminaries and End matter is depend on the subjects of essays or pieces of writing. But in the main text we must mention to acknowledgment and references to prove or research.

Paragraph:
A paragraph is a group of sentences that develop one the topic or idea.(the web site first line).
An essay is include several paragraphs which are connected to the main idea or subject and it should follow the previous paragraph.Further more there are many exercises on the web sit .I recommend to do particularly the paragraphing . For dividing the text to the paragraphs we need to recognise the linking world for beginning of each paragraph.

Referencing:
Harvard referencing: it is a referencing system in tow ways:
1-In text citing: it souled come after the sentences in the text body.
2-locating the reference list at the end of essay or text.
At the end i have to say that: it was not clear for me last week. But i think i have got it now particularly the referencing part .
