Introduction
In recent years, the increased use of science and technology has expended vigorously all over the world to contribute a native role in modern policing to identify the victim. For instance: DNA Database, CCTV, Finger Print, etc, to fight crime.
Public privacy has always been recognised as one of the most important parts of human rights from religious and historical aspects. Modern technology has had a positive effect on modern day human lifestyle through simplifying and recognising the identification of victims. However, it has also had a negative effect on the public privacy, since personal information stored on national policing systems sometimes undergoes misuse or even in some cases neglect. There has been various articles published recently outlining the discovery of stored information on London’s very own public system.
According to the ‘Home Office’, the UK invests nearly £60 million each year on improving security of digitally stored information. This expenditure is now essential for governments across the world. However, the above mentioned points may breach the publics’ privacy causing severe problems in the community. The purpose of this essay is to identify the fact that the increase in use of science and technology has inevitably increased levels of technological crime and breach of personal privacy in some cases.

Privacy definition:
Privacy is an abstract and contentious nation. First of all human is a sociable creature and sensible of its privacy. For example everybody has some sensitive personal information which if someone knows that, would embarrass or invade its privacy. Secondly, even though data collection or information about individual and family is essential for each society and its success, the security and who can access to those is disputable. In addition, definition of privacy in some ways depends on cultural and society education. For example in some cultural sexual or employment information is important, whereas in others are not.
